Abstract
The aim of this work is to study the different radiological patterns, sites,shape and severity of bilharzial calcification of urinary tract and its relation to the clinical condition of the bilharzial patients and the associated complications that could be detected by plain radiology. In this study:- A describtion of anatomy of urinary tract and its blood supply was given.- The pathology of urinary bilharziasis was described, and the complications of bilharziasis in urinary tract were recorded.- The radiological manifestations of bilharziasis of the urinary tract were mentioned.- All patients with past history of repeated bilharzial infestation were examined radiologically by plain x¬ray film of urinary tract to detect bilharzial calci¬fication. 100 patients who had calcification of a part of urinary tract were examined clinically, urine.
