Abstract The mechanism of bronchial asthma is still not understood. but it is likely rather a complex. abnormalities of immune system. the airway receptors and other pathways. On the other hand. clearly involving autonomic chronic bronchitis. is a common diagnostic problem facing physicians. and considered by many investigators as manifestation of lower airway hyperreactivity (Mc Fadden, 1975). The validity of separating diagnoses such as asthma and chonic bronchitis in childhood is open to question and the overlap between these two entites appears to be extensive (Burrows et al .. 1977). Since an important .factor in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma and chronic bronchitis is the disturbancen lmmunorequlation. thus we plainned for this work to throw a beam of light on the immunoregulatory linkobetween the two diseases. in order to uncover any line of demarcation and / or predict and single out patients with chronic bronchitis at early time entering to asthma. |
