Abstract Psoriasis is a common chronic intractable skin disease that affects 1 - 3% of the world population (Barker 1972). It is genitically determined disease consisting of well defined, pink or dull red lesions covered by ^pacta^Latio/ • silvery scales the lesions tend to bee-confluent and may persist indefinitely. Although psoriasis is not life threatining diso-der; it may be associated with disfigurement, and re¬striction to activation if it occure in for e.g. the hands. In majority of cases localised psoriasis can con¬trolled reasonably well on an out patient basis, but generalised psoriasis is a major Broblem requiring in patient hospital treatement.
