Abstract

The allergic skin diseases are diverse group characterized byimmunologically induced inflammation in the allergen comes from the environment. Exposure to the allergen may be through inhalation, ingestion, skin contact or Injection, Allergic contact dermatitis is an example Of a involving cell mediated immunity. It affects 30% or more of the population. it is the most common Occupational disease seen in every day practice and as such is of tremendous Atopic dermatitis is an example of a disease Involving cell mediated immunity .it is the most common occupational disease seen in every day practice and as such is of tremendous importance to both the individual and to socity .Atopic dermatitis is specific dermatitis characterized by an enhanced capacity to form IGE in –response to a varity of antigens. However numerous observations pointing to altered Immunity have been demonstrated both clinically and laboratory .Atopic dermatitis is a COMP I ex disease Involving both the type I an d type I hypersertstivity reactions The aim of this study is to evaluate cell mediated immunity (T cell function) both in vitro and in vivo in patients With some allergic skin diseases.
