Abstract

In the present study, samples from liver and alimentary canal of cattle and buffaloes were used to study the lesions of fascioliasis, paramphistomiasis and toxocariasis infections. The samples were collected from AlMansoura slaughter house, Dakahlia province. Egypt for histochemical and pathological studies. The incidence of fascioliasis was 11.5%in cattle and 13% in buffaloes, paramphistomiasis incidence was 13% in both cattle and buffaloes, and toxocariasis incidence was 26% in calves during the period from a April 2004 to May 2005. The macroscopic lesions in fascioliasis were in the form of partial or complete cirrhosis. Paramphistomiasis, affected the reticulorumen of ruminants and has adverse effect on animal health. Fascioliasis , paramphistomiasis and toxocariasis caused great adversed effect on health, growth and development of ruminants which are the mean source of meat and milk they caused marked loss in cattle and buffaloes during their infection since, they resulted in great pathological and histochemical hazard changes in liver and rumen oh ruminants.
