Abstract This thesis consists of three main chapters I Introduction: This chapter includes importance of using solid phase extraction (SPE) as a useful technique used for separation and preconcentration of trace metal ions prior to their determination and covers the general characteristics of the polymeric organic ion exchange resins, their physical and chemical properties, advantages gained by ion exchangers upon their modification with organic complexing agents. II Experimental: This chapter describes the processing and details of the analytical methods which were used throughout the thesis. III Results and Discussion: This chapter includes the description and discussion of the obtained results. |
