Abstract The moment method and legendre expansion method ara used to solve the forward and adjoint boltzmann - fokker planck equations describing the transport of charged particles. the method is used for one - dimensional plan geometry in an infinite homogeneous medium. The solution technique has been applied to calcolate the energy deposition for the forward and adjoint Boltzmann-Fokker planck (PFB) equations for electron transport in aluminium. The caculations show that the moment method gaves stasis factory good results for the energy deposition for the forward and adjoint (PFB) equations. |
