Abstract
The area of the present study lies between the basement complex of north Eastern Desert between Latitudes 26 51 30 to 26 58 N and Longitudes 33 29 to 33 39 E and covering about 127.2 Km2. Field mapping revealed that the basement rocks in the study area include the following rock units from older to younger : Metasediments, Metavolcanics, Older Granitoids, Basic - Ultrabasic Rocks, Younger Granites and Post Granite Dykes. Metasediments represent the oldest rock unit and constitute a minor portion of the southern part of the mapped area covering about 12 Km2.
