Abstract The present investigation was carried out on soil - plant relationships of some Psammophytes of the aeolian sands at North Sinai Egypt by studying their Ecology and describing the adaptations, which allow them to survive under different environmental conditions. The climate of the Mediterranean coast of Egypt is semi-arid, however, that of the desert is ranged from arid to hyper - arid (low rainfall, high temperature, low relative humidity and high evaporation rate). Twenty-five stands (10m X 10m) were studied using random quadrat method. |
