Abstract The object of this study was to investigate the effect of foliar application of benzyl adenine (at50,100 and 200 ppm) and pix (at 500,1000 and2000 ppm), at flowering and fruiting stages throughout the two successive seasons 1990 and 1991, on the growth criteria, pigment contents of soybean. Glycine max. var crawford plants. During the harvest, the yield and yield atteributes were determined in the treated and untreated plants. Also, the contents of carbohydrate, protein, oil as well as the level of endogenous growth regulators were analysed in the yielded seeds. |
