Abstract

The aim of the present work is to investigate the air microbial contents (quantitative and qualitative) at three selected areas in Greater Cairo namely; Zenein wastewater treatment plant, El - Sayeda Zeinab slaughter house and Ramses street (city centre). The study was devoted to determine total viable bacterial counts, spore forming bacteria, total coliform, faecal coliform, faecal streptococci, staphylococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, coliphage, yeast; Gram negative bacteria and actinomycetes at three selected areas.
