The current study aimed to investigate the relationship between emotional understanding and self-disclosure among adolescent female students. The study sample consisted of 450 adolescent females, ranging in age from 13 to 21, with a mean age of 17.85 and a standard deviation of 4.67. The study instruments included a self-developed Emotional Understanding Scale and a Self-Disclosure Scale. The results revealed a statistically significant correlation at the significance level of 0.01 between emotional understanding and self-disclosure among adolescents. There were statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.01 in the level of emotional understanding among adolescents across the three educational stages, favoring university students. Similarly, there were statistically significant differences at the significance level of 0.01 in the level of self-disclosure among adolescents across the three educational stages, favoring university students. Self-disclosure among adolescents can be predicted based on their level of emotional understanding.
