Abstract
As a laser dyes, Malachite green (MG) and Methylene blue (MB) are investigated optically and photo-physically. dyes were subjected to TD-DFT simulations in order to examine the electron density, electrostatic potential, and divergence between the HOMO and LUMO states in various solvents. dye’s optical characteristics were examined, and the results demonstrated how different solvents altered the material’s optical characteristics by affecting the position and intensity of absorption.
