Ghazi Al-Gosaibi is one of the most important poets who realize the value of the homeland and preserve its Saudi and Arab identity. The poet’s love for his homeland and his eagerness for it reached the point of obsession and tyranny. He called it (the language of the Gulf, its sword and its spear). He did not leave a battle in which his homeland was a party without storming it, defending the homeland. He took his tongue as a weapon in fighting every battle. In many cases, he dressed many situations in the garb of tolerance and purity, and perhaps this is due to his diplomatic skills. Al-Gosaibi was respected and appreciated by everyone. Everyone who knew him or read his poetry knows the extent of his nobility, purity and love for his homeland, in addition to the humanitarian tendency that dominates his poetry. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi is one of the icons of Saudi literature in particular and Arab literature in general. Al-Gosaibi is a poet who has drawn for himself a clear approach in dealing with words since his beginnings. He is a mixture of two schools (romanticism and realism) and simple mixtures of the spirit of modernity. He has enriched the literary and cultural scene with various types of writing, including poetry, novels, plays, and articles. In all of them, he has striven to solve many societal and national problems and to pay attention to many issues. His opinions were of great importance because they came from a person with a long history in poetry in particular and literature in general, in addition to his work in politics, which gave his opinions a neutral and rational character. Anyone who reads his poetry and writing finds his pains and hopes, and even the pains of the society that he considered his big home and devoted his pen to defending. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi is a big name on the international level. When Al-Gosaibi is mentioned, a big politician and diplomat is mentioned with him, as well as Arab literature, culture, and economics.
