Abstract The term ”burnout” refers to a prolonged reaction to ongoing emotional and interpersonal pressures, characterized by EE, DP, and lack of PA (Maslach C et al., 2001). EE is a state in which a person feels overextended emotionally by their work, resulting in a loss of energy and making them feel generally weak. DP is the term used to describe the development of impersonal, heartless, and unfeeling attitudes toward patients and loss of idealism at work. The feeling of reduced PA refers to a feeling of lack of confidence in one’s abilities and personal achievement (Maslach C et al., 2001). According to the evidence that is currently available, job satisfaction has been linked to the prevalence of burnout symptoms in a work environment (Myhren et al., 2013). Job satisfaction, which affects the burnout syndrome and is evaluated alongside burnout, is defined as the emotional satisfaction or positive feelings that the worker perceives as a result of the evaluation of his or her work. Job satisfaction is a protective factor against burnout by increasing employee excitement, which has a good effect on the quality and success of health organizations (Halcomb & Bird 2020). |
