Abstract In this retrospective study, a total of 350 patients were investigated from 2016 to 2021. One hundred patients’ data were collected from Oral and Maxillofacial Department in Faculty of Dentistry, Ain -Shams University and 250 patients’ data were collected from Oral and Maxillofacial Department of Dental Specialized Teaching Military Hospital, Kobri El-Kobba. Data was centralized electronically using Microsoft Excel Software. All patients were diagnosed clinically and radiographically by computed tomography (axial and coronal slices and three-dimensional reconstructed images). This study retrospectively analyzed these medical records and data were collected concerning gender, age, cause of injury, fracture pattern, time of operation admission, hospital residency period, and treatment modality. This analysis helped us to improve the management and treatment of patients who had maxillofacial fractures. |
