Abstract This study was carried out in a broiler farm under the supervision of Animal Production Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, during the period from March to June 2016, to investigate the effect of alfalfa seed oil (ASO) supplementation levels on broilers performance, physiological status and economic efficiency from one day to 42 days of age (6 weeks of age). Six hundred one-day-old unsexed Cobb broilers chicks were used in this experiment. Birds were randomly distributed into four equal experimental groups. The average initial body weights of the treatment groups were nearly similar with no observed significant differences. The chicks were offered corn-soybean meal basal diets that were formulated to meet or exceed the nutritional requirement of growing chicks as recommended by the National Research Council (NRC). The experimental designed was included. |
