المستخلص

The study aimed to identify the level of perceived parental academic pressure and moral intelligence in predicting unrealistic academic entitlement among secondary school students, in light of some demographic variables (gender, specialization, school type). The total sample for the study consisted of (380) students, including (151). Males, (229) females, their ages ranged from (16-19) years, with an average age of (17,338) years, and a standard deviation of (0.743) years. In this study, the study was based on the Perceived Academic Parental Pressure Scale prepared by (Kaynak, et al., 2021). It was translated by the researcher, the moral intelligence scale was prepared by the researcher, and the academic entitlement scale was prepared by (Al-Dabaa, 2018) and was modified to suit the nature of the age stage of the sample by the researcher. In order to measure the three variables of the study. the results of the study showed a high level of academic entitlement among the study sample of secondary school students. the results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the average scores due to the gender variable (male/female) in the direction of males, specialization (scientific/literary) in the direction of literary specialization, and type of school (governmental/private) is in the direction of private schools on a scale of feelings of unrealistic academic entitlement among members of the study sample of secondary school students. The level of unrealistic academic entitlement can also be predicted through the variables of perceived academic parental pressure and moral intelligence.
