Abstract The incidence of multidrug resistance to anticancer agent is growing with time. This requires the development of a new anticancer agent. This development is complicated by the required lengthy procedures and high budget. This drew the attention of scientists to test the anticancer potential of already available non-anticancer drugs in a process called drug repurposing. Repurposing of existing drugs for cancer treatment offers a rational and costeffective approach to provide solutions to many problems. |
