Abstract
Clinical training of nursing students is an essential component of nursing education. However, traditional nursing clinical training does not always adequately prepare nursing students to meet the rapid advances in healthcare and medical new technology which result in weak practical skills of nursing students, or a theory-practice-gap (Christian et al., 2023). Hence, several learning methods and training strategies, including video based virtual reality simulation have been proposed in recent years to cope with the current circumstances.
