Abstract Preparation of ferroelectric nanoparticles and ferrite nanoparticles has become a field of interesting research in the last two decades; where the effects of the extremely small size and large surface area of nanoparticles lead to a noticeable variation in some electrical and magnetic properties, which can be modified simultaneously. Accordingly, new applications emerge, and more and more researchers are involved in the field. Moreover, incorporating polymers with ferroelectric nanoparticles and ferrite nanoparticles opens more research projects and more expected applications. Therefore, the objective of the present work has been to prepare Ba1-xSrxTiO3 nanoparticles by the tartaric precursor method (where x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4), then preparation of PVDF/BaTiO3 composites with different percentages. Also, we have aimed to prepare Co1-xNixFe2O4 nanoparticles by the citrate-nitrate auto combustion approach (where, x=0.0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, and 1.0), then preparation of PVDF/ CoFe2O4 composites with different percentages. After that, we aimed to study some structural, morphological, ferroelectrical, magnetic, and electrical properties of the pure ferroelectrics, ferrites, PVDF, and composite samples and to investigate some of their practical applications. |
