المستخلص In light of the rapid developments and changes that the world is witnessing at all educational, technological, and ideological levels, we find that the educational field has become one of the fields most affected by these changes, which requires the necessity of thinking flexibly, researching, and investigating everything that is new and presented by the new education philosophy, such as developing curricula and activating Modern strategies and teaching methods, as well as assessment methods that make the learner a main focus of the teaching and learning processes. Ghassan Qutait (2010, 24) points out that the increasing use of technology and its connection to interactive communication networks has led to a radical change in educational and learning practices themselves, not only in the speed, flexibility, and extent they provide, but also in the increasing degree of their impact on the teaching and learning process. The talking book, the electronic library, e-education and learning, digital teaching strategies, and virtual environments in the field of education to influence the roles played by the teacher and the learner. Anyone who contemplates contemporary changes that have emphasized the importance of innovation and innovation in educational practices will find that they have demanded the necessity of using technology in teaching as it is a necessity of the times, as well as digital transformation in school curricula and the use of electronic innovations in teaching and learning. In light of the previous results that showed the weakness of the seventh grade students at Al-Naam Middle School in the middle stage in the State of Kuwait in some digital thinking skills and deep understanding skills, the researcher seeks through the current research to develop the clear thinking skills and deep understanding skills of these students, using some applications. Cloud computing in teaching social studies, which may contribute to providing multiple opportunities for students to teach and learn e-work and digital learning skills, and the outcomes that result in students acquiring digital thinking skills and a deep understanding of the aspects of learning in social studies. Research Problem: In light of the previous results, which revealed the weakness of seventh-grade middle school students in the State of Kuwait in some digital thinking skills and deep understanding skills, the researcher seeks in an attempt to use some computer applications in teaching social studies, such as cloud computing, to develop these skills. |
