This study aimed to identify the relationship between political satire in the Al-Bashir Show of the Republic program and the political activism of the Iraqi public, and to know the intensity of the public’s viewing of political satire programs on satellite channels. The study was applied in light of the theories of dependence on the media and the theory of uses and gratifications, and to achieve the goal of the study; The researcher used the descriptive method in its field part by applying it to a sample of (400) individuals from the Iraqi public, and used the questionnaire tool to collect data. The study reached many results, including: 1. The results of the study regarding the timing of your viewing of Al-Bashir Show Al-Jumhuriya show that (80%) of the sample answered (I watch the episode via social networking sites), which is the highest percentage. 2. The results of the study showed that (73.27%) of the sample had knowledge of the audience’s positive attitudes regarding the motivations of the Iraqi audience for watching Al-Bashir Show Al-Jumhuriya. 3. The results of the study also showed that most of the study sample agreed on the focus of the Iraqi public’s level of attention to following political satire on international Arabic-speaking satellite channels on the political movement, at a rate of (65.47%).
