Abstract

In recent days,mathematical modelling for an uncertain data has become increasingly important topic in various research fields. Therefore,many researches have worked on mathematical modelling to describe uncertainty. The theory of modeling,which is concerned with the relationship between mathematical structures and logic,nowadays it has a wide range of applications,in many areas such as:computing,philosophy and linguistics. Real-world applications of intelligent techniques such as image processing, control systems,power engineering,industrial automation,robotics,consumer electronics,design process and optimization have widely benefited from mathematical modellings, In this thesis, a comprehensive survey will be introduced for basic concepts of some mathematical modelings which deals with uncertainty in real life problems and engineering systems like: fuzzy set model,rough set model,soft set model,graph theory and mobius strip.
