The thesis contains seven chapters as follows: Chapter One: The value of work in its various dimensions (its definition - its elements - its topics - its goals - its motivations - its ideas). The chapter dealt with the definition of the word “work” in some dictionaries, and the word “work” in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. Terms used interchangeably for the word work, such as “craft,” “profession,” and “job,” the opinions of some philosophers on the subject of work, the concept of work, the origin of human work and its purpose. The value of work, its motivations, the essence and nature of work, the elements of work, the topics and fields of work, the definition of the word “value”, the word “value” in the Holy Qur’an, the philosophy of value from Socrates to modern times, the significance and significance of value. Chapter Two: The concept of work in ancient civilizations. It deals with early civilizations and the concept of work. The concept of work in the primitive era. The concept of work in ancient Egyptian civilization, the concept of work in Mesopotamian civilization (Babylonian-Assyrian), the concept of work in Greek civilization, the concept of work in Roman civilization, the concept of work in heavenly religions, the concept and place of work in modern economic thought. Chapter Three: Working through graphic arts. Definition of art, art and daily life, the Bauhaus school and the integration of fine arts with applied arts, definition of graphics, the concept of graphic art in ancient and modern times. Graphic in the modern era is the art of its time that is distinct and appropriate to its ideas and requirements. Working through graphic arts and graphic artists. Chapter Four: An analytical study of the most prominent printed graphic artworks in which the work played an important role. The Renaissance era and an analytical study of the most prominent printed graphic works of art in which work played an important role in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, England, Spain, Switzerland, and Scotland. Chapter Five: An analytical study of the most important works of Egyptian and Arab artists, which dealt with work as a human and expressive value.
