Abstract
The aim of this part was directed to construct some novel quinazolinone derivatives with potent biological activities.The aim of this part is to synthesize biologically active polymer conjugates for biomedical applications. Chemical functionalization and grafting of some biodegradable polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol, chitosan, and cellulose with uracil, barbituric acid, 6-aminouracil, 5-aminouracil, guanosine, and folic acid were performed via different linkers. Moreover, the biological activities of these grafted polymer conjugates were evaluated as antifungal and anticancer agents.
