Abstract The choice between implementing an endprosthesis or a cement spacer as a reconstructive measure following resection of the proximal humerus depends on several parameters. The parameters include the patients’ survivability; intrarticular or extra-articular resection and the functionality of the axillary nerve and the deltoid. The choice also depends on whether the lesion is solitary or multiple; the patient’s general health status and the socioeconomic status of the patient. |
