Abstract
Nowadays, the increasing number of smartphones has caused the immediate sharing of photographs capturing current events on social media. The use of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Flicker, and others is increasing, and photographs play an important role. It is stated that ”a picture is worth a thousand words,” and individuals nowadays submit photographs to these sites to express their sentiments and emotions in the form of a picture on nearly every occasion. The sentimental content of pictures from social events starts to be obtained from visual material. Images play the most significant role in today’s generation, where they have become a major part of everyone’s lives. Most of the prevailing researches have concentrated on the sentiment analysis of textual data, but only a few works have focused on the sentiment analysis of visual data.
