Abstract
Currently the internet is considered an inevitable necessity in people’ life but unsound use of the internet leads to internet addiction or PIU. Problematic internet use has become a global social issue can be broadly conceptualized as inability to control one’s use of the internet which leads to negative consequences in daily life. Also PIU is recognized as ’’a multidimensional syndrome’’ characterized by cognitive and behavioral symptoms resulting in negative social, academic or professional consequences.
