Plastic treatments of living elements in Islamic art and their use in sculptural composition in light of the abstract trend
Islamic art has had a clear and significant impact on contemporary artistic production, especially plastic art and architecture in particular. This is evident in contemporary Arab and Islamic art because the symbols and units of artistic formation of Islamic art are linked to Islamic thought and doctrine. Miniatures, for example, are the basis for the development of decoration and the creation of many decorative units, in addition to the role of Arabic calligraphy in its various types in the development and transformation of contemporary Islamic art to take on a form and style within the artistic work, especially design, as it often relies on the role, beauty and elegance of Arabic calligraphy and the rhythm, balance and symmetry of Islamic decoration. ”

Designing and implementing sculptural compositions to benefit from the researcher’s findings from his study in order to achieve the research hypothesis.
results
1- Islamic decoration has a vital role in the Islamic artistic heritage. It provided us with extremely fine plastic solutions that were applied with various materials, which changed the concept of the Islamic religion from stagnation to life, respect for art, and expression of heritage in various arts.
2- Islamic architecture in general has an architectural vocabulary that enables us to create pictorial formulas and paintings that simulate different themes and create a new form of Islamic decoration.
3- There is no objection to combining modernity with ancient classical systems by creating a new architecture that connects them, incorporating technological methods to keep pace with modern progress, combined with decorative and plastic styles to preserve the artistic heritage from extinction and give it an aspect of modernity. 4- The necessity of paying attention to developing the imagination and creativity skills of contemporary artists, and creating new educational systems that make them more in contact with the environment because the environment is the inspiring element for the artist and is what enables him to connect imagination and reality, changing the prevailing and conventional.
Recommendations:
1- Those concerned with preserving the Islamic architectural heritage should communicate with contemporary photographers and architects and research the possibility of applying Islamic decoration using the logic of mural photography to modern architecture.
2- Wall painting does not stop at a specific decorative style or a specific time, but rather it is a system governed only by imagination and freedom.
3- The necessity of paying attention to developing the imagination and creativity skills of contemporary artists, and creating new educational systems that make them more in contact with the environment because the environment is the inspiring element for the artist and is what enables him to link imagination and reality, changing the prevailing and conventional, and giving new styles that change art in general.
