Impact Of Online Training on Job Performance and Behavioral Transformation of Employees in Egyptian National Railways
The researcher aims to study the impact of e-learning on job performance and behavioral transformation of employees in the Egyptian Railways. The researcher adopted the stratified purposive sampling method, and the sample size was determined using the Sample Size Calculator program at a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of ±5%, resulting in a sample size of 280 individuals. The researcher used a survey questionnaire prepared for the purpose of collecting data on the research variables, where e-learning represents the independent variable, job performance is the first dependent variable, and behavioral transformation is the second dependent variable. The validity and reliability of the tool used to measure the responses of the sample individuals were determined. The thesis aimed to assess the availability of e-learning components in the Egyptian Railways organization and understand the correlation between e-learning, performance, and behavioral transformation. It also sought to determine to what extent employees perceive the relationship between e-learning components and the quality of their performance. The study population consisted of employees in the Egyptian Railways in the Cairo portfolio. The research sample was drawn using proportional purposive sampling, and its size was determined using the Sample Size Calculator program, considering the population size, a confidence level of 95%, and a margin of error of ±5%. After entering the data into the program, the sample size was calculated to be 280 individuals. After excluding questionnaires from individuals who did not receive training or did not complete the survey, the final sample size was 216 individuals, on which the analysis was conducted. The study found that employees in the Egyptian Railways benefit from e-learning, which helps improve job performance and behavioral transformation. Through this study, the researcher aims to address challenges and propose suitable solutions. The researcher concluded several significant results, including a significant impact of e-learning on the performance of employees and a significant effect on the behavioral transformation of employees due to e-learning.
