Educational institutions in many countries of the world seek to achieve high levels of quality in school education with its diverse elements. Of which the sports supervisor is one of the most important elements.
Professional compatibility is one of the important variables that are hoped to achieve in order to achieve the job performance of sports supervisors in military schools, where professional compatibility is one of the most important determinants of job performance as when the supervisor agrees with his profession may lead to achieving a degree of psychological and social compatibility, and also to professional success that achieves the concept of a positive social self, and the supervisor’s sense of satisfaction with his work may push him to master job performance and increase productivity.
Professional compatibility is one of the areas of general compatibility, as human life is mostly distributed between family and professional life, and therefore it should achieve in these two areas the greatest amount of compatibility, and the concept of compatibility in general is one of the important and well-established concepts in psychology, which has been addressed by a large number of studies in psychology, sociology, and psychiatry, and the concept of compatibility has received the attention of many researchers, so they were interested in their study of compatibility by analyzing it and studying all its dimensions, where Samia Al-Qattan sees ( 1986) that compatibility is the central phenomenon in psychology as a whole, so it must begin with the definition of ”compatibility” in general.
It is noted in the sports field that there are many stressful stimuli that the sports supervisor encounters due to the variety of demands that he must meet, such as achievement, learning and acquiring skills, utilitarian control, good interaction with others and the associated fear of failure or defeat, anxiety, stress, and arousal that are associated with sports competition, and other factors that contribute to raising the level of pressure in the sports supervisor.
Job performance depends on several factors, including what is organizational, cultural, social, environmental, and psychological and these factors vary in terms of the degree of their impact from one society to another and from one department to another, due to the different educational, social and administrative levels, and also to the different desires and needs of people, and therefore it is worth identifying all the obstacles facing job performance, which are considered as factors influencing its performance negatively and positively, and job performance has received the attention of many researchers and thinkers in multiple fields, and thinkers have unanimously agreed Paying attention to the job performance of the individual in the organization and giving him the necessary care brings the institution to its highest goals, and of course all organizations seek to accomplish their work efficiently and effectively in order to reach the achievement of the goals that were planned in advance.
Search Problem:
The achievement of sports achievements requires the availability of several physical and morphological factors, but these factors are not complete except when there is a high psychological fitness through which the sports supervisor can face competitions that impose by nature many types of pressures, whether physical, psychological, or social. To achieve job performance and the associated upgrading of the level of efficiency of supervisors.
Pressures in the sports field are related to the intertwined and complex relationships between the supervisor, administrator, students, superiors, and other supervisors who have relationships in military schools with the armed forces, and what may be associated with the quality of these relations of criticism, lack of sufficient appreciation, lack of motivation or encouragement, or attempt to demand a high level of job performance that achieves the objectives of military schools in the armed forces.
Professional compatibility is one of the areas of general compatibility in human life distributed mostly between professional and family life and therefore it should achieve in these two areas the greatest amount of compatibility, and social pressures are considered one of the important psychological phenomena in the sports field due to their great impact on athletes and due to their importance, many researchers have addressed them to clarify their relationship with some psychological variables, from here it can be said that the problem of research is clear that the pressures for them come on the personality of supervisors such as anxiety Aggression and motivation for achievement where we find that job performance on supervisors is affected by the severity or lack of psychological pressure.
Importance of Research:
Through the researcher’s knowledge, he noted that the studies related to occupational compatibility in general and studies related to occupational compatibility, so the importance of research can be accomplished in the following points:
- The scarcity of research and studies that dealt with the subject of professional compatibility and its relationship to the job performance of sports supervisors in military schools.
- Adding a new measuring tool (researcher preparation) to measure the level of professional compatibility among sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces.
- Adding a new measurement tool (researcher preparation) to measure the job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces.
- The link between professional compatibility and the objectives of schools as an educational institution.
- The need for such a study to open future horizons for relevant scientific studies.
Research Objective:
The research aims to identify the extent of the relationship of professional compatibility with the job performance of sports supervisors in military schools through the following:
- Know the level of professional compatibility of sports supervisors in military schools.
- Know the best levels of job performance that sports supervisors can reach in military schools.
- Know the relationship between professional compatibility and job performance of sports supervisors in military schools.
Research Assignments:
- What is the level of professional compatibility among sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces?
- What is the level of job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces?
- Is there a relationship between professional compatibility and job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces?
Search Procedures
Research Methodology:
The researcher used the descriptive approach of the ”survey study” because of its suitability to the nature of this study.
Research Community
The research community included sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces by (60) supervisors.
Sample Research:
- Basic sample:
The basic research sample was selected in a random way from within the research community and outside the basic sample of the research from the supervisors of sports in the military schools of the armed forces, after excluding the members of the survey sample and thus the number of members of the basic sample (50) supervisors by a percentage (83.33%).
Data collection tools:
- The following tools were used to suit the nature of the research:
- Measure of ”Professional compatibility of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces”.
- Measure of ”job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces”.
Exploratory study:
The aim of this study was to ascertain the scientific parameters (honesty, consistency) of the measure ”Professional compatibility of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces”, and the measure ”job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces”.
Statistical Processing:
The researcher used the statistical program (SPSS) to process the data statistically and used the following statistical methods:
- Mean Arithmetic.
- Standard deviation.
- Pearson’s simple correlation coefficient.
- Cronbach’s alpha coefficient
Conclusions and Recommendations:
In the light of the objectives and questions of the research, within the limits of the research sample and through statistical treatments and the presentation and discussion of the results, the following conclusions were reached:
Conclusions:
1- It turns out that sports supervisors adhere to and respect the regulations and regulations within the military schools of the armed forces.
2- The sports supervisor feels appreciated by others.
3- The sports supervisor always seeks to achieve success and achievement in work.
4 - The existence of relations of mutual respect between the supervisors of sports.
5- Low community appreciation of services and efforts provided by sports supervisors.
6- The existence of relations of mutual respect between sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces.
7- Sports supervisors are keen to innovate new methods in training and dealing with students.
8- Sports supervisors are keen to keep abreast of everything new in the field and to see modern theories in training and attend workshops and seminars.
9 - The greater the professional compatibility, the more effective the job performance of sports supervisors in military schools in the armed forces because the relationship between them is direct.
10. Military schools in the armed forces provide modern educational means and consider the integrated development of students (mental, physical, psychological).
Recommendations:
1- Increased attention should be paid to the sports supervisor and his family on the part of the armed forces and improve the level of services provided to them.
2- Military schools in the armed forces should pay more attention to the work of training courses and weight for sports supervisors to help them know everything new in their field.
