Abstract

Two Schiff base ligands which derived from 2-aminopyridine with salicylaldehyde or 2,3-diaminopyidine with 2-hydroxy-l-naphthaldehyde and their CU(II) complexes, have been synthesized and characterized. these complex were used as templates for the development of new heterogeneous systems with the aim to employ them as catalysts in the production of H2 gas and the removal of organic pollutants.
