Abstract

Complete reliance on computer-assisted 3D printing systems (design and manufacturing) has become more prevalent these days. However, the studies that have been tried to analyze biodiversity, not in the traditional way, are insufficient.
The aim of the research:
The aim of this study is to compare complete dentures manufactured using the 3D printing method and those manufactured using the traditional method in terms of evaluating the efficiency of the presser
Materials and methods used:
Ten patients with missing all teeth and molars were selected and divided into two equal groups randomly according to the manufacturing technique. Two kits were delivered to each patient, the first kit: patients who received complete dentures manufactured in the traditional way. As for the second set: patients who received complete dentures manufactured using a 3D printing method. Then, the chewing competence was evaluated using standard chewing test units (SCT) in patients after receiving the dentures and after one and three months.
Results:
When comparing the different dentures, it was found that there was a statistically significant improvement in chewing efficiency (P<0.05) in both groups after 3 months.
conclusion:
Both methods of manufacturing dentures showed an improvement in the chewing efficiency, but the traditional method was more efficient in the long run.
