Abstract

Skin cancer is one of the most prevalent types of cancer and occurs when mutations occur in the DNA of skin cells, which leads to the uncontrolled growth of cells . In our study, Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels in the tumor tissue were substantially higher, while superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) levels also proved to be significantly decreased. also indicated that RAPD-PCR analysis succeeded in producing a diagnostic tumor marker band for squamous cell carcinomas but failed in basal cell carcinoma. it appeared to have a strong property to discover the primitive malignant cell more than histopathology.
