Abstract
This research work was designed on two studies and includes (70) animals:
The experimental study includes (40) Holstein heifers to investigate the effect of rumen juice transplantation with some additives on the general health status, productivity and on some ruminal parameters upon post-weaned Holstein heifers.
The field study includes (30) Holstein calves to evaluate the treatment of ruminal acidosis (impaction) with anti-acids (100 gm sodium bicarbonate + 50 gm magnesium oxide) or with the best results obtained from the experimental study.
