Abstract SLE is systemic autoimmune disease, characterized by exgratted Bcell and T-cell response. SLE can affect every organ; LN is a common clinical manifestation. This study of SLE and LN in 74 adults patients and 26 pediatrics from menufia and Mansoura university in the period from January 2022 to june 2022 were respectively reviewed, this study followed the ethical standards of our institution. The study reviewed that: SLE was more common in female than male in adults and pediatrics. Non scaring alopecia and arthritis were more in adults than in pediatrics. Creatinine and urea were higher in pediatrics. Na was lower in adults. HB, TLC and platelets were lower in pediatrics. SLEDAI was higher in pediatrics. C3 and C4 were more consumed in adults. Nephrotic range proteinurea was more common in pediatrics. Activity and chronicity index were higher in adults. Azahioprine and Retuximab were used in adults more than pediatrics IV IG was used in pediatrics more than adults. |
