Abstract

So, to summarize our work, tibialis anterior transfer is a very successful operation for treatment of cases of dynamic foot supination with no significant complications. We found that the younger the patient, the better results post-operative and getting back to normal life faster. There is still a debate either total or split tendon transfer is better in these cases. However, latest researches say that total tendon transfer is better to avoid any
recurrence and avoid any loss of muscle power after transfer.
