Abstract
This work has been carried out to investigate the utility of the degradation products of PET and PMMA plastic wastes as reactive intermediates for the synthesis of a variety of new heterocyclic compounds such as pyrazole, 1,2,4-triazole, 1,3,4- oxadiazole, uracil, thiophene, coumarin, quinoline, thioxothiazole, oxothiazoline, acrylonitrile, [1,2,4] triazolo[3,4-b][1,3,4]thiadiazole derivatives and testing their antimicrobial and antifungal activity
