Abstract This study was carried out to investigate the effect of aging (24 hours, one month or three months) and repair materials (adhesive system as well as repair resin composite) on the repair bond strength of silorane-based resin composite. . Results. Statistical analysis using two the two-way ANOVA revealed a non significant effect for aging period as well as repair material and their interaction on repair bond strength of silorane-based resin composite. Conclusions. Under limitations of the current study, the following conclusions could be withdrawn: 1.Aging of the repaired silorane-based resin composite, up to three months, have no negative effect on its repair microtensile bond strength. 2.Silorane-based resin composite material can be repaired using another chemically different adhesive material other than its adhesive |
