Abstract AD-HOC wireless networking has been identified as a challenging evolution in wireless technology. An ad hoc wireless network is a special type of wireless networks that does not have a wired infrastructure to support communication among the wireless nodes. In multi-hop ad hoc networks, communication between two nodes that are not direct neighbors requires the relay of messages by the intermediate nodes between them. Each node acts as a router, as well as a communication end-point. Without a proper configuration of the topology, some nodes in the network could be easily over-loaded and it might be impossible to find a QoS route during the operation of the network |
