Abstract Background: Urine analysis is invaluable in diagnosis of urologic conditions as well as systemic disease affecting the kidneys. The volume of urine samples that clinical laboratories receive represents around 30% of the total sample volume. Microscopic urine sediment analysis has been the gold method for examining urine cells and particles. However, it is imprecise and has wide inter-observer variability, labor-intensive and time-consuming. Different analyzers are currently used to perform the task of automated urine analysis .These automated analyzers have been compared with the manual microscopic sediment examination. Aim of the Work: The aim of this study was to perform a comparison of methods between the automatic urine sediment analyzer H800-FUS100 and manual urine analysis technique for the examination of the formed elements in urine |
