Abstract The aim of the present is to evaluate the effect of cementing fiber posts with MTA on the adhesive bond strength and diametral tensile strength of reinforced teeth. The present study evaluated the effect of cementing fiber posts (RelyX fiber post) with MTA (Angelus) and resin cement (RelyX Unicem) on the adhesive bond strength and diametral tensile strength of reinforced teeth. A total of 40 recently extracted, single rooted, caries free human teeth were collected. Root canal preparation and obturation were performed. The root canals of the samples were enlarged using a low speed drill provided by the manufacturer of the selected post system. The posts were assigned to two equal groups (n = 20 each) according to the experimental group. group (1) (n = 20): Diametral tensile strength. group (2) (n = 20): Adhesive bond strength. Each group was further divided into 2 subgroups (n = 10 each) according to the type of the cement used |
