هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التحقق من العلاقة بين الذكاء الأخلاقي والحساسية الانفعالية لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية الموهوبين وأقرانهم المتفوقين عقلياً، والتعرف على الفروق بين طلاب المرحلة الثانوية الموهوبين وأقرانهم المتفوقين عقلياً وإظهار الفروق التي تعزى للنوع (ذكور ، إناث) لدى أفراد العينة في متغيرات الدراسة، وتكونت العينة من (317) طالب وطالبة بالمرحلة الثانوية ، بمتوسط عمرى (15,72) وانحراف معياري قدره (0,826)، واستخدم مقياس الذكاء الأخلاقي ومقياس الحساسية الانفعالية ( إعداد : الباحثة) على عينة الدراسة الأساسية، ومن خلال تحليل النتائج توصلت الباحثة إلى
1- وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين الدرجة الكلية للذكاء الأخلاقي والدرجة الكلية للحساسية الانفعالية لدى الطلاب الموهوبين والمتفوقين عقلياً.
2- وجود فروق بين الطلاب الموهوبين والمتفوقين عقلياً في الدرجة الكلية للحساسية الانفعالية والذكاء الأخلاقي في اتجاه الطلاب المتفوقين عقلياً.
3- وجود فروق بين الذكور والإناث الموهوبين في الدرجة الكلية للذكاء الأخلاقي في اتجاه الذكور، ولم توجد فروق في الدرجة الكلية للحساسية الانفعالية تعزى إلى النوع لدى الموهوبين.
4- وجود فروق بين الذكور والإناث المتفوقين عقلياً في الدرجة الكلية للذكاء الأخلاقي في اتجاه الإناث، وفى اتجاه الذكور في الدرجة الكلية للحساسية الانفعالية.

Title of the Study: Moral Intelligence in Relation to Emotional Sensitivity among Gifted Secondary Stage Students and Their Mentally Talented Peers (A comparative Study).

Abstract
This study aimed at identifying the relationship between moral intelligence and emotional sensitivity among gifted secondary school students and their mentally talented peers. It also sought to identify differences between gifted secondary stage students and their mentally talented peers. Differences between both study samples in the targeted variables according to gender (males - females) were also investigated. The sample comprised (317) male and female secondary stage students (mean age= 15.72; SD= 0.826). Both moral intelligence and emotional sensitivity scales (prepared by the researcher) were administered to the basic sample. Analyzing the study data statistically, the researcher concluded that:
1. There as a statistically significant negative relationship between total score of moral intelligence and that of emotional sensitivity among gifted and mentally talented students. There was no statistically significant relationship in this regard among the entire sample.
2. There were statistically significant differences in total score of emotional sensitivity and that of moral intelligence, in favor of the mentally talented students.
3. There were statistically significant differences between male and female gifted students in total score of moral intelligence, in favor of the males. However, there were no statistically significant gender differences in total score of emotional sensitivity among gifted students.
4. There were statistically significant differences between males and females (gifted students – the entire sample) in total score of moral intelligence, in favor of the females and in total score of emotional sensitivity, in favor of the males.
