Abstract The thesis studied the role of surfactants and macromolecules as organized media to enhance spectroscopic characters of different drugs and the use of this effect to develop new analytical methods for assay of those drugs in pharmaceutical preparation and human plasma. In addition, the thesis introduced the use of surfactants and macromolecules as mobile phase additives in micellar liquid chromatography to improve the chromatographic and/or to enhance the fluorometric detection of poorly fluorescent minor components. The developed methods’ greenness has been evaluated by different tools: Analytical Eco-scale, GAPI and AGREE scale which prove that all developed methods are green as surfactants and macromolecules were used as safer alternatives to organic solvents. The developed methods were successfully applied for the determination of the studied drugs in their lab prepared mixture containing all possible excipients present in their dosage forms or in human plasma. |
