The aim of the current research is to verify the effectiveness of a proposed constructivist model in teaching science to develop inferential thinking skills and achievement among primary school students. To achieve this goal, the research sought to answer the following main question: What is the effectiveness of a proposed constructivist model in teaching science to develop inferential thinking skills and achievement among primary school students?, the research sample consisted of (100) students from the fourth grade of primary school in the two school (Majmae Alayman private school and Thamarat Alhayha private school in the East Mansoura Educational Administration), they were divided equally into two groups: the first is an experimental group, it includes (50) students studying the science course according proposed constructivist model, and the second is a control group that includes (50) students studying the science course according to the usual method. The researcher prepared experimental treatment material represented in: ”The teacher’s guide, and the student’s activity brochure, in addition to preparing research tool, which are: the achievement test, and the inferential thinking test in the science course for the fourth grade of primary school. The result of the research assured the effectiveness of a proposed constructivist model in teaching science to develop some inferential thinking skills and achievement among primary school students, and in the light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations and proposed research.
