المستخلص The current study, a semi-projective clinical study, sought to identify the underlying psychological needs of university students of both sexes. The study sample consisted of (105) university students of both sexes, with (50) males and (55) females. The study used a test Complementing Sentences for Psychological Needs, authored by: Henry Murray, translated and Arabized by: Muhammad Abd al-Zahir al-Tayyib .(1981)The study reached several results, including: the presence of statistically significant differences between males and females in suppressed aggression in favor of males, and the study also concluded that there are statistically significant differences between males and females in suppressed control in favor of males, and also the existence of statistically significant differences between males and females. males and females in the repressed sex in favor of females, and finally the results showed that the repressed control variable contributed to predicting the degrees of repressed aggression in males, as it contributed by 34.1% of the total variance ratio, and also the repressed sex variable contributed to predicting the degrees of self-blame, repressed (contempt) among males, which contributed 26.4% to the total variance rate. |
