The current research aimed to develop language communication skills for children with autism spectrum disorder through a program based on joint attention activities, and the research sample consisted of one group of (8) children with autism spectrum disorder, aged from 4 to 6 years, With a mean age of 62 months, a standard deviation of 2.6, a mean IQ of 73, a standard deviation of 2.8, and included tools Research on: Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale - Fifth Form, codification (Mahmoud Abu El-Nile et al., 2011), and Gilliam Estimated Scale for Diagnosing Symptoms and Severity of Autism Spectrum Disorder - Third Edition, prepared and localized (Adel Abdullah, Abeer Abul-Magd, 2020), and Communication Skills Assessment Scale Linguistic (prepared by the researcher) and a program based on joint attention activities (prepared by the researcher). The program was implemented over a period of three months and two weeks, The results indicated that The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the 0.01 level in the direction of the dimensional measurement between the average scores of children with autism in the two measurements before and after, on the Language Communication Assessment Scale for children with autism. While there are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores for post- and follow-up measurements On the Language Communication Assessment Scale for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder After a month of subsequent measurement, which indicates the continuity of the effectiveness of the program.
