Abstract Summary Corneal refractive surgery is one of the most commonly performed operation in ophthalmology to correct refractive errors, many refractive surgery screening methods have been used, The BAD is one of the best methods to exclude keratoconus and widely used by clinicians. BAD display was incorporated in the recent Pentacam machines using a standard deviation based on normative data to exclude keratoconic corneas by using multiple parameters color coded thus making the diagnosis of keratoconus more simple. This study conducted at Tanta University by collecting relevant data of normal patients with different corneal diameters and analyze their Pentacam Changes in the values of corneal diameter along with other various parameters, observe the effect of different corneal morphological parameters on the (BAD) results. This study was conducted on 126 patient, 48 males (38.1%) and 78 females (61.9%) aged from 20 year to 30 year all have normal corneas, The patients were grouped according to the corneal diameter into 2 groups, group A (diameter ≤ 11.5 mm) contain 61 eyes, group B (diameter> 11.5 mm) contain 191 eyes, Data were collected in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet including age, sex, KA, KM, Kmax, Posterior K, BFS posterior, |
