المستخلص
This thesis aims to identify the development role of the Kuwait Fund for Arab
Economic Development in the West African region since , by proposing the
hypothesis that the Kuwait Fund has a real developmental role in the West African
region.
The thesis followed the use of the SWOT analysis tool and the PEST tool to
determine the influencing factors. In order to get acquainted with the
developmental role of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development in the
West African region since .
To achieve the aim of the thesis, the thesis has been divided into four chapters
and its conclusion. The first chapter deals with the establishment of the Fund, its
financial resources and its relationship with other development institutions,
through three sections. The first section deals with the emergence of the Kuwait
Fund for Arab Economic Development and its objectives. The second topic
includes the development of the Fund’s financial resources and its relationship with
other development institutions. The third topic includes the presentation of
economic literature. On the role of financial institutions in achieving economic
development and their role in Africa. The second chapter deals with the Kuwait
Fund and its role in achieving economic development in the West African region,
which includes three sections. The first section deals with a comprehensive view of
the Kuwait Fund’s role in Africa, and the second topic includes the development of
the Kuwait Fund’s role in the West African region, while the third topic includes
the contribution of the Kuwait Fund in the various sectors in the West African
region.
The third chapter dealt with models of the developmental role of the Kuwait
Fund in the various sectors in the West African region since the year , and it
includes three sections. the first section illustrates the developmental role of the
Kuwait Fund in the transport and agriculture sectors and its branches, the second
section deals with the developmental role of the Kuwait Fund in the water,
sanitation and energy sectors, and the third section includes the developmental role
of the Kuwait Fund in the social sector, technical aid and grants. While the fourth
chapter deals with the quadripartite analysis matrix to assess the developmental
role of the Kuwait Fund in the West African region, through two sections, the first
section includes the analysis of the internal environment of the role of the Kuwait
Fund in West Africa, while the second section includes the analysis of the external

environment of the role of the Kuwait Fund in West Africa. Then the conclusion
which includes the findings and recommendations
